Birding and Nature Walks

Tampa Bay Area
(Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough Counties)

Discover the beautiful ecosystems that exist right in our own backyards by taking a guided walk with me into some of our local green spaces.

Whether you are new to the area, on vacation, or a local who is curious about your favorite local park, there’s something for everyone on these walks.

Details...

I guide walks in many of our local parks including, but not limited to, Brooker Creek Preserve, John Chestnut Sr. Park, Honeymoon Island State Park, Moccasin Lake Nature Park, Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, Lettuce Lake Park, Hillsborough River State Park, Alafia Scrub Nature Preserve, and Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park.

You choose the place and we’ll have an awesome adventure together!

Walk duration is usually 45 minutes to an hour. I offer nature walks all year (rain permitting), but keep in mind that July, August, and September are quite warm and humid months of the year.

Birding tours are better early in the morning just after sunrise.

There is no fee for the walk, but if you feel so moved, a donation to cover time and travel would be kindly accepted.

Note: Depending on the park, there may be parking and/or park fees that apply.
